Every friendship begins somewhere
While working at international schools in Guangzhou, China, author and chainsaw artist Aaron Chavez carved a grizzly bear and a little owl from a gifted log. He began imagining their friendship and the adventures they might share.
In the carving world, great carvings tell stories. Brin and Melly were two characters whose story simply couldn't stay in the wood.
Today their adventures celebrate courage, kindness, belonging, and the belief that the right friends come into our lives at just the right time.
